Just as in any experience, [menopause] does not appear to be a ‘one-size-fits-all’ journey. In my own experience and in supporting women in this transition, I have found that continuing to consciously and intentionally carve time to check in with your own needs, symptoms, and responses to stressors provides increased awareness. Building a tool-kit of community, resources and providers that resonate with your own journey only help to support your experience navigating through this shift.

Interview: How We Heal | Sound Healing
by Milwaukee PBS, Youtube, March 8, 2025
Standout comments:
- “All of a sudden I felt my arms and legs go limp. I became aware of my arms being tense and thought, “Oh, relax and my arms instantly relaxed.”
- There’s no touch. It’s just sound.
- The most amazing thing is that there’s no touch and my body was completely limp afterwards.
- It’s an exciting time for sound healing research. We need a lot more research, but there’s current research on how sound techniques can shift brainwaves so move people out of flight or fight mode.
